Dave Wallis
Biography
I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with a 15-year career focus on UK charities and social purpose organisations, and a background in statutory external audit delivery. I specialise in the accountancy and good governance of charities and in helping my third sector clients navigate the complexities of the compliance environment.
I am passionate about LGBTQ+ issues and the importance of thoughtful and empowering support and opportunities for disabled people in the community. I identify as a gay man and empathise with the challenges (and strengths) that are often experienced alongside traits of neurodivergence, autism and ADHD.
My role on the Board of ParaPride (from April 2026) centres around ensuring robust ongoing financial oversight, strong internal control, proper management of resources and strategic planning that ensures ParaPride can continue to grow its excellent work, initiatives and events for the community.
