Hafsa Qureshi
Biography
Hafsa Qureshi (they/he) is an openly bisexual and genderqueer Muslim from Birmingham (UK). They are a multi-award winning LGBTQ+ activist, writer and public speaker.
As a Director of Wellbeing & Development with the organisation TransActual, they support the rights of all trans people in the UK. They centre employee and volunteer wellbeing and highlight local community activism as vital in this work.
As a speaker, his areas of focus are: accessibility and disability awareness, race inequality, LGBTQ+ inclusion, queerness and faith.
His work has been featured in: VICE, Sky News, Channel 4, Metro, BBC News, Pink News and more. They have worked with numerous public, private and third sector organisations across their career.
Hafsa currently works within the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) sector.
