Join us in person to connect, share, and celebrate at the IAW Networking Reception, a free event bringing together the ParaPride community for Intersectionality Awareness Week 2026.
Intersectionality Awareness Week (11–17 May) is an awareness campaign created by ParaPride, and this is its second year running. The Networking Reception is your chance to meet the people behind it. Come face to face with some of the guest speakers who took part in the virtual Panel events throughout the week. Ask the questions you didn’t get to ask. Continue the conversations that mattered.
This is a welcoming space for everyone. Whether you’re already involved in the ParaPride community or discovering it for the first time, you’ll find like-minded people here. Light refreshments will be provided, so come ready to relax, socialise, and engage.
IAW is rooted in pride, empowerment, beauty, and strength. We come together to reflect on our struggles and celebrate what makes us who we are. We share our stories, honour our intersectionalities, and leave feeling seen and empowered. This event is a chance to experience all of that – in the same room, together.
